Would This Work At A Library Conference

Here's a slight digression from the focus of Kept-Up, but I came across this item in Elliott Masie's Learning Trends newsletter. Seems that at the Learning 2005 conference they are going to try to do away with any type of PowerPoint presentation (I've written in the past about how PPT sometimes serves, when misused, to take away from a good conference experience). The plan is to use what Masie calls the "1 Pager". Each presenter has to provide a single page upon which the presentation will be based. It looks like a challenge, but one that could certainly make for an interactive presentation. See more at:
