Fewer Courses Translates To Better Performance On The Field

Three of the country’s most talented and successful college quarterbacks — Dennis Dixon of Oregon, Colt Brennan of Hawaii and Matt Ryan of Boston College — are spending more time in the film room this season than in the classroom. Some say this is another example of how little academics matter in major college sports, but others see the light classload as a reward for a job well done and as a way for a player to concentrate on the team.
