IHEs Unite To Help Urban Students Gain Access To Higher Education

Ten presidents of area colleges and universities pledged yesterday to continue collaborating with the Columbus schools on ways to better prepare urban students for college, help them pay for it and find ways for them to stay in college. In addition to pledging help in readiness, the universities also agreed to identify resources and take appropriate steps to designate scholarships and student financial-aid programs to designated student groups.
