They are challenging stereotypes, building character and helping a worthy cause. They are the "Bearded Men Knitting Hats" of Eureka College who have taken up knitting for Heart House, a homeless shelter in Eureka. The beard, they threw in for good measure because November, apparently, is "no-shave month." But facial hair is not much in evidence among this group. They already have sold 50 hats at $10 apiece and the orders have been pouring in from their peers, many of whom want specific colors. Read more at:
