The American Council on Education released a new study that stressed that men’s college participation is increasing despite reports of a growing gender gap in higher education. The study, released yesterday, looked at data from the 2003-4 school year, the latest information that was available. It also found that among traditional-age undergraduates, low-income white and Hispanic men are losing ground to women. In contrast, middle-income Hispanics and low-income black men made progress in closing the gender gap. Read more at:
