The University of Iowa is also expecting record enrollment, while the University of Northern Iowa anticipates a fifth consecutive year of increased enrollment. Final figures will be released in September. Record enrollments have also created a housing crunch at the U of I and ISU, with hundreds of students living in converted residence hall lounges.
