Providing Special Assistance To Help Student Parents Persist To Graduation

I wrote an article for Thursday’s paper about Generation Hope, a new mentoring and scholarship program that is helping young parents through the financial and emotional challenges of college. For many of these students, raising a child while working and going to school requires an elaborate juggling act: To get to class, there must be steady child care.
