Officials at Texas A&M University-San Antonio insist that’s true in the case of Sissy Bradford, an adjunct professor of criminology. She was informed that she won’t be teaching there in the fall, after — but not, the university insists,because — she complained about what she thought was an inappropriate display of Christianity at the public university. The university denies that the decision not to bring Bradford back had anything to do with the brouhaha over the crosses, or with her public criticisms of the school’s investigation into the threats against her.
